We have re-opened The Trail's End Store and have added some new products. Most of them are designed specifically for www.thetrailsendstore.com and are sent out from Michigan, USA. This means a lot better and faster shipping methods to almost everywhere around the world except a few places.
We also re-located our home base to the Columbia Basin in the Kootenays of British Columbia. Now in operation in Rossland, BC which has a rich mining history. It is a small town of over 3,000 people. We get people from all over the world who love to ski at Red Mountain during the winter, and we have people who love to hike and bike our fabulous trails during the warmer seasons. The pristine mountain ranges make for a spectacular view.
Many of our local businesses have struggled during these last few months. We do have some that are still in operation though. There's the Flying Steamshovel local pub (at http://www.theflyingsteamshovel.com ) who have re-opened recently. They are of course modifying their seating arrangements and safety procedures and you do have to reserve ahead of time. This is one local favourite! Another place is actually in Warfield just a few minutes drive outside of Rossland. It is called The Zee Crepes Cafe
(http://www.zeecrepescafe.weebly.com). This little shop brought their authentic crepe recipes from France that have been in their family for decades. They use fresh ingredients that originate from the local Kootenays. They too have opened recently and observe seating and sanitary measures for safety of customers and staff. If you get the owner serving you she is quite friendly and bubbly and makes you feel special. This is one place I highly recommend. They also have a facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/zeecrepescafe
